i Have an issue with it i am facing it nowadays most of the time car stays on the engine and less battery. on battery, it shows only 3 cells charged and then use it and after a few 1 to 2 km it converts to engine I have lost at least 80km fuel mileage was 15km/l usually it does at least 24 to 26 easily

2 years later I have a question. Can this be ethernet connected to a router to use as an NAS?

Roomba 614. Took it apart a bit further than you did. The cleaning box. Separated the black and the gray, there is a little screw that holds the contact plug in place. The cleaning box has a motor and 2 brushes. There is a 1/8 inch red sticker on the black plastic. Under this sticker there is a flexible plastic "wire" or "needle" with a small ball-anchor. The ball remains in the socket under the red sticker, and the plastic "needle" follows a channel in the pulley of the motor. The motor appears to be freely swinging in its socket along its rotor-axle. As the motor turns left-right, the pulley moves. There is a small hole at the end of the pulley channel, where the plastic "needle" appears to enter. This element does not appear to be sold separately. I think I need a replacement of this "needle". Do you know how long is this "needle" and what is the purpose? I think I can use weed-eater string or fishing line, they come at different diameters. Any idea?

Roomba 614 is not charging. Cleaned the contact, same. Green light lits for a min then goes out. I believe the battery is gone. Battery shows 0 V.

Had one that failed completely in less than 2 years with very light use inflating motorcycle tires a few pounds. Foolishly, I bought another from Amazon and it did not include the carrying pouch or charging cord. Also, seems much louder than first unit. Nulksen ignores my requests for missing items. I should return to Amazon.

I watched this video because the manual, which isn't very good, said something about there being two different speeds by pushing the red button, and that doesn't seem to be the case, and you pretty much proved it. I think it's one of those things where they have one basic manual for all their models and they forgot to delete that portion that it's only one speed. I totally agree with you that the range is enough for the weight of my son who will use it and it's fine on the simple trails that don't have big hills that we will be riding on. My daughter and I will ride our bikes and he will ride the scooter. One kind of issue is the clip on the fender for folding an unfolding. If the screws are too tight, it will be locked either unfolded or folded. If the screws are too loose, the clip and the screws fall off completely when you hit a couple of bumps. I might try 3/4-in long screws. But anyway, I got mine at Walmart for $198, so I ain't about to complain.

I know what the B mode does, but the engine whines rediculously high and sounds like it's gonns explode. IE: getting to the end of the Blue Ridge parkway down to Cherokee. I had to alternate between a short amount of B mode and brakes. Stopping many times cause I could smell my brakes getting super hot.
